about

Genre outlaw Zardonic is back with another energy-drenched Drum n' Bass remix of horror-bass producer Waxteeth

Waxteeth's productions revolve around ominous melodies backed up by ambience straight out of horror flicks, the combination giving the producers work a sad yet creeping feeling. Big grinding basslines, chopped up and twisted around, guided by a pumping beat, makes you feel like you’re strapped to the cart of a haunted house ride going double speed.

Started the year by releasing a brand new adrenaline-pumping drum 'n bass remix of 'Momentum' by the musical genre outlaw and energy-visionary Zardonic (Bullet for my Valentine, Smash into Pieces), Waxteeth was seen breaking new ground with press and playlists across the scene (Spotify Editorial: 'Fresh Dance' (19k), 'Fresh Music' by Digster (139k Followers), 'Wub Wub Dubstep [and HEAVY BASS]' (47k) etc.). Now the two producers return with a second heart-ratling co-lab. This time Zardonic delivers an explosive makeover of Waxteeths newest single 'Losing My Mind' featuring We Are The Catalyst.

Known for his unique talent to mix and match elements from across the Metal and Drumstep scene, creating rule-breaking tracks with high intensity in thrillingly bombastic compositions, Zardonic sees it as his mission to stir the sonic melting pot and cultivate a sound that resonates with music fans who worship energy above all else. Talking about the collaboration with Waxteeth he tells us: "I was extremely happy to work on this! Waxteeth is a solid, fresh electronic music act, and I'm glad to know they're part of the ICEA family.", while adding on the new remix, "Nobody can expect to be kept in isolation for over 2 years and come out completely sane. So, yeah. I think I'm losing my mind. And I definitely lost it on this remix. So you will probably relate. Just, you know, don't run amok please."

Waxteeth has proven to be a new exciting (dark)star on the bass and dubstep horizon, already showcasing an impressive ability to deliver seriously gritty, horror-inspired bass-productions. Presenting his first, rather smooth, single from upcoming EP 'The Inevitable End' in collaboration with multimillion streamed producer and artist MVRE last year, Waxteeth moved on to further emphasize the darkness that accompanies his apocalyptic aesthetics by dipping his toes in the metal and heavy rock genres. His latest single 'Losing My Mind' featuring Alt Metal band We Are The Catalyst, is laden with distorted guitars and driven by thundering grinding basslines and a deep unyielding beat. In preparation to release the new remix of the song by Zardonic, Waxteeth tells us about the essence of the original song: "We all have bad days and sometimes it feels like they just don’t end. It’s so easy to get caught in it, it feels like you’re losing your grip, stumble and suddenly the darkness hits you like a wall of noise. That’s this song, it lures you into the dark and then hits like a wall of noise."

'Losing My Mind (Zardonic Remix)' will be released on all major platforms Feb 25, 2022 by Icons Creating Evil Art.

lyrics

LYRICS

I can’t see the rain, but I can hear it falling
The rain drops over me, I can hear it calling
Is it all just in my head, just like the monsters under my head?
I think I’m losing my mind, I think I’m losing my mind

I think I’m losing my mind x3

I think I’m losing my mind
I think I’m losing my mind

I think I’m losing my mind
I think I’m losing my mind

I think I’m losing my mind x3

I think I’m losing my mind
I think I’m losing my mind
