about

Spirit Break' was the first release of the thrilling collection of dark electronic offerings from Waxteeths upcoming debut EP 'The Inevitable End' due in autumn this year. The original track was dropped on Oct 15 2020, in which his dramatic and gritty productions meets the smooth and refined soundscapes of Swedish producer and artist MVRE (“Young, Wild and Free” (2,6m followers), “Deep House” (official playlist of Tomorrowland Festival), multiple “New Music Friday”-playlist).

Now, Waxteeth and MVREs original track is brought to life yet again in a new remix by renown DJ & Producer Urbanstep from Riga, Latvia. Creating his own unique and unchained sound by mashing an endless list of genres together, his music has reached over 100 million streams across major platforms. As an independent artist, Urbanstep leaves a long trail of releases which has topped charts in multiple genres, he's worked with Grammy nominated vocalists and performed with world class DJs all over the world. His own label, Urban Stars Records, is the home of over 50 names since its founding in 2012, and as an event organizer/promoter he makes one of the responsible actors for the biggest party series of 2018/2019 in his native country Latvia - RAVE Reborn, RAVE Rebellion & RAVE Reunion. Urbanstep participates not only in electronic music spreading, but also in rock/metal, rap/hip-hop and pop, pavingthe path for cultural general development. In 2020 he got invited into Latvia's Eurovision 2021 production crew and in 2021, he got featured in Forbes Baltics 30 under 30 list, as well as scored numerous #1 tracks/albums on Apple Music charts. On the new remix, he wishes to enhance the importance of keeping up the fight, stating: "Never let anything break your spirit".

Waxteeth has proven to be a new exciting (dark)star on the bass and dubstep horizon. After the release of his first rather smooth single 'Spirit Break' Waxteeth followed with a dark, grinding release in next single 'Momentum', showcasing an impressive ability to deliver seriously gritty, horror-inspired bass-productions. To furhter emphasize the darkness that accompanies his apocalyptic aesthetics, the artist moved on by dipping his toes in the metal and heavy rock genres, featuring Alt Metal band We Are The Catalyst (6m streams across platforms, 1 m views on Youtube, FM radio rotations in UK & US) in his third single 'Losing My Mind'. Later Waxteeth presented a heart-ratling co-lab with musical genre outlaw and energy-visionary Zardonic (Bullet for my Valentine, Smash into Pieces), releasing two adrenaline-pumping drum 'n bass remixes of 'Momentum' and 'Losing My Mind' and breaking new ground with press and playlists across the scene (Spotify Editorial: 'Fresh Dance' (19k), 'Fresh Music' by Digster (139k Followers), 'Wub Wub Dubstep [and HEAVY BASS]' (47k) etc.).

Signed to the renowned Swedish label Icons Creating Evil Art, these are only the first of several exciting releases to be expected from Waxteeth in the building up of the forthcoming EP. Displaying a distinct talent for creating foreboding an omnius vibrations in his so far released work, the mysterious artist and producer gives us an enticing insight to his vision for the upcoming story arc by stating: "Just like we’ve imagined humans scrapping for materials in post apocalyptic worlds time and time again, this EP is me doing exactly that. Taking my first stumbling steps in a new world, grabbing whatever I find, connecting it, building something new from the parts. Metal and bass, mind and machine, anger and fear all bolted together. Is it shelter? Is it a memory? Is it alive…? Let’s find out..."

Waxteeth Stockholm, Sweden

Waxteeth's productions revolves around ominous melodies backed up by ambience straight out of horror flicks, the combination giving the producers work a sad yet creeping feeling. Big grinding basslines, chopped up and twisted around, guided by a pumping beat, makes you feel like you’re strapped to the cart of a haunted house ride going double speed. ... more
