Waxteeth returns from the abyss with a new darkness in upcoming single ‘Momentum’


Waxteeth's productions revolve around ominous melodies backed up by ambience straight out of horror flicks, the combination giving the producers work a sad yet creeping feeling. Big grinding basslines, chopped up and twisted around, guided by a pumping beat, makes you feel like you’re strapped to the cart of a haunted house ride going double speed.

Preparing to release his enthralling collection of dark electronic offerings in upcoming debut EP 'The Inevitable End' that is due next year, Waxteeth drops now drops his new single 'Momentum’ on Dec 10. In response to its predecessor, ‘Spirit Break’, in which Waxteeth dramatic and gritty productions met the smooth and refined soundscapes of Swedish multimillion streamed producer and artist MVRE, this new track is untamed and rough. ‘Momentum’, with its heart-rattling bass in ruthless agreement with a heavy unyielding beat, delves deep into the abyss and presents us with a darkness worthy of its name.

Talking about his new track, Waxteeth says: "Momentum is just that; movement and speed. The fact we’ve started something that is going so fast we can’t stop it. I felt that it was fitting to represent this with a mix of retrofuturistic synths reminiscent of the 80’s and the grinding electronic sounds of dubstep. Better buckle in cause the future is coming up fast, and with it, the inevitable end."

'Spirit Break' and ‘Momentum’ is only the first of several exciting new releases to be expected from Waxteeth this upcoming year, resulting in the forthcoming EP. Displaying a distinct talent for creating foreboding heavy-bass productions in his so far released work, the mysterious artist and producer gives us an enticing insight to his vision for the upcoming story arc by stating: "Just like we’ve imagined humans scrapping for materials in post apocalyptic worlds time and time again, this EP is me doing exactly that. Taking my first stumbling steps in a new world, grabbing whatever I find, connecting it, building something new from the parts. Metal and bass, mind and machine, anger and fear all bolted together. Is it shelter? Is it a memory? Is it alive…? Let’s find out..."
