Horror Bass producer Waxteeth is back with new original track WYREZ after top streaming remix co-labs with Zardonic & Urbanstep

Waxteeth has proven to be a new exciting (dark)star on the bass and dubstep horizon. After the release of his first rather smooth single 'Spirit Break' feat Swedish Dubstep producer MVRE (“Young, Wild and Free” (2,6m followers), The official playlist of Tomorrowland Festival, “Deep House” and multiple “New Music Friday”-playlist), Waxteeth followed with a dark, grinding release in 'Momentum', showcasing his impressive ability to deliver seriously gritty, horror-inspired bass-productions. To furhter emphasize the darkness that accompanies his apocalyptic aesthetics, the artist dipped his toes in the metal and heavy rock genres in his third single 'Losing My Mind', featuring Alt Metal band We Are The Catalyst (6m streams across platforms, 1 m views on Youtube, FM radio rotations in UK & US).

Moving into 2022 by presenting a co-lab with musical genre outlaw and energy-visionary Zardonic (Bullet for my Valentine, Smash into Pieces), Waxteeth released two enthusiastically received, adrenaline-pumping drum'n bass remixes of 'Momentum' and 'Losing My Mind', breaking new ground with DSPs and media outlets across the scenen, (Spotify Editorial: 'Fresh Dance' (19k), 'Fresh Music' by Digster (139k Followers), 'Wub Wub Dubstep [and HEAVY BASS]' (47k) etc.). With this success in it's wake, Waxteeth’s music next landed in the hands of renowned DJ & Producer Urbanstep (Forbes Baltics 30 under 30 list, #1 tracks/albums on Apple Music charts), in a remix of ‘Spirit Break’ reaching 6000 streams during it’s first 48 hours.

Now, Waxteeth is back with a new original Bass track in new single ‘WYREZ’ from his upcoming debut EP The Invitable End. A thundering horror amorous Bass track, exquisitely displaying Waxteeth's distinct talent for creating foreboding and omnius vibes throughout his productions. About the new single, the mysterious artist and producer tells us: “As technology became smaller, smarter and more accessible we thought we would become more free, truly wireless. In reality we just tied ourselves up worse, tangled in invisible wires, bound by our devices.”

I’ve got strings
To hold me down
To make me fret
And make me frown
I have strings
That I can’t see
Who pulls my strings for me...?

Signed to the renowned Swedish label Icons Creating Evil Art, these releases paints an immersive picture of Waxteeth forthcoming EP. He gives us an enticing insight of his vision by stating: "Just like we’ve imagined humans scrapping for materials in post apocalyptic worlds time and time again, this EP is me doing exactly that. Taking my first stumbling steps in a new world, grabbing whatever I find, connecting it, building something new from the parts. Metal and bass, mind and machine, anger and fear all bolted together. Is it shelter? Is it a memory? Is it alive…? Let’s find out..."

'WYREZ' will be released on all major platforms June 3, 2022 by Icons Creating Evil Art.

Waxteeth's productions revolves around ominous melodies backed up by ambience straight out of horror flicks, the combination giving the producers work a sad yet creeping feeling. Big grinding basslines, chopped up and twisted around, guided by a pumping beat, makes you feel like you’re strapped to the cart of a haunted house ride going double speed. ... more
